Why is it that one of them burns, and the other tans?
Why is it that two people with the same skin colour and ethnic background get such different reactions from the sun?
You can’t really tell much about a person’s genetic make-up just by looking at them. Skin and ethnicity are outside observations and don’t tell you very much at all about what happens inside their dermis and epidermis.
