Ok maybe not perfect, but someone amazing, like everything they did came effortless to them, with amazing innate characteristics?
Did you ever meet someone with perfect genes?
I don’t know if there is such thing as perfect genes. I have met people with a very different distribution of assets or talents. For example, one of my closest friends has an older brother who is very predisposed to illnesses. It’s the opposite of perfect when it comes to genes. He has been diagnosed with over forty different problems, from autism to mitochondrial disease.
Yes, I met someone with ‘perfect’ genes. I have a friend from university who came to the UK from Germany to study Pharmacy. He was always fun and great looking too, the athletic type. But he was also an A student, very knowledgeable about everything. He graduated with honours and went on to receive a scholarship for a Master’s degree - all this while working part time. We became friends quite quickly and soon he mentioned that he had this condition that makes him a very energetic person making his body functioning quicker than the average body. When he shared with me details about his condition I was completely sceptical. I have read about natural ‘short sleepers’ who typically go to bed well after midnight, then get up just a few hours later. You can read more about this in The Wall Street Journal. Yes, though very rarely. I met a woman once in line at the supermarket with her daughter. She looked incredibly young for being a mother. I was so convinced that she and her daughter looked more like sisters. So I dared to ask her about her age. When she told me she was 40 years old I couldn’t believe. She didn’t look a day over 21.
