CRISPR for dummies

Can anyone please give me a very simple explanation as to how CRISPR works? Thanks! Olivia.

Hi Olivia,

To put it very simply, CRISPR-Cas9 (its full name) is a relatively new technology that is used to edit genes.

This is a good introductory talk given by Jennifer Doudna (one of the biologists who invented CRISPR) in 2015 at TED. Take it from here.
